At Herter Community Gardens we created a pollinator-friendly space by planting native perennials and shrubs. Pollinators attracted by our garden benefit neighboring vegetable plots.  The garden is an outdoor classroom for children from Charlesview, Inc and other neighbors.  Because of its location on the Charles River, this garden is our most visited site.
