Community Sharing
Pollinator gardens bring public engagement. People are naturally drawn to gardens; it is part of our makeup. As people pass by, notice, and spend time in our gardens, they have an opportunity to read and learn about the ways that the plants support pollinators and what they can do to help. Our signage is in many languages to invite access to our neighbors.
Through our community pollinator gardens at Charlesview Residences and our gardens Boston Green Academy we've been able to work with students to educate them on the natural world they live in. Our pollinator space at Herter Community Gardens also acts as an outdoor classroom for local schools. Our signs in the languages spoken by the community welcome all to be a part of our gardens.
